Setting up your Styletech keyboard, whether wired or wireless, is simple. Follow these steps for a seamless experience.
1. Wired Keyboard Setup (Styletech USB-Powered Wired Keyboard)
Step 1: Unbox and Inspect
Ensure the keyboard is in good condition with no visible damage.
Check the USB cable for any wear or tear.
Step 2: Connect to Your Computer
Plug the USB connector into an available USB-A port on your computer.
The keyboard should be automatically detected by your operating system, and any necessary drivers will be installed.
Step 3: Test Your Keyboard
Type in a text document to ensure all keys are functioning correctly.
Test the Numpad, function keys (F1-F12), and any special media keys.
Step 4: Adjust Settings (Optional)
You can modify keyboard settings like key repeat rate and delay through the keyboard settings in your operating system.
Troubleshooting:
Keys Not Responding? Check the USB connection and ensure the cable is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port or restart your computer if needed.
Spill Incident? The keyboard is splash-resistant, but for larger spills, unplug immediately and dry thoroughly before reconnecting.
2. Wireless Keyboard Setup (Styletech Silent Multi-Mode Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard)
Step 1: Unbox and Inspect
Ensure the keyboard and included USB dongle (if applicable) are undamaged.
Charge the keyboard using the included USB-C cable if needed.
Step 2: Connect via USB Dongle
Insert the USB dongle into an available USB-A port on your computer.
Turn on the keyboard using the power switch.
Step 3: Connect via Bluetooth (Multi-Mode Models Only)
Turn on your keyboard and press the Bluetooth pairing button.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your computer or mobile device.
Select "Styletech Keyboard" from the list of available devices and pair.
Step 4: Switch Between Devices
To switch between connected devices, press the designated mode switch button on the keyboard. You can connect up to 3 devices via Bluetooth and 1 via the USB dongle.
Step 5: Test Your Keyboard
Type in a text document to ensure all keys are functioning.
Test special functions such as multimedia keys, Bluetooth switching, and any customizable keys.
Step 6: Adjust Settings (Optional)
Adjust the keyboard settings like key repeat rate and delay in your operating system’s keyboard settings.
Troubleshooting:
Keyboard Not Responding? Ensure it is fully charged, and that the USB dongle or Bluetooth connection is properly set up. Reconnect or re-pair the keyboard if necessary.
Connection Issues? Try moving the keyboard closer to the dongle or device, or ensure there are no interfering wireless signals nearby.
